It was my first telenovela, and I LOVED it! A lot of crying, but most was tears of happiness. One of my favorite scenes was the repeated command by the Villanueva women during childbirth, "five minutes of pain for a lifetime of happiness", followed by a really threatening remark. Worked every time!
