Mediocre at best. I was alive when Admirals Nimitz, Halsey, Spruance, Fletcher et al were actually engaged in the story line behind this movie. Maybe that dates me, but having Woody Harrelson playing Admiral Nimitz is a real stretch. Harrelson is a decent actor but he's not realistic in this role and most particularly, because he wasn't alive when these events took place. The Midway movie back in the late 70's and the TV Mini Series "Winds of War" give a much more accurate picture of the Midway battle then does this most current version. 1 to 2 stars as a movie.
