Started listening to Vampire Weekend when their song "Worship You" was featured in a FIFA soundtrack. Ever since then, I feel in love with the band. Only God Was Above Us feels like a mix of the sounds from the various albums they have released. Like for example, "Pravda" has that "Flower Moon" vibes from their 4th album "Father of the Bride," and Mary Boone sort of has "Contra" vibes imo. Regardless, this album has been in my rotation since it was released. I think Vampire Weekend might one of the top artist that I might listen to this year on Spotify.
