Love the idea of the game but I cannot get anywhere because I just keep starving to death.. A suggestion would be to give us more food to start with i.e. Canned tuna instead of fruit, and food needs to spawn more frequently - I have found more weapons than I have food(and water). There have been times where I have searched every single house in a small village (that hasn't yet been looted) but have not found a single piece of food (or drink). I feel if you fixed this, the game would be much more enjoyable as would be able to continue exploring withing starving to death.
