Why has Mr. Cuomo never discussed all of the teachers, librarians, custodians, counselors, principals... in this discussion of kids going back to school? At least in Alabama, we already have a shortage of teachers and if you throw in teachers who will retire earlier than they planned as well as others who will choose not to return to a school where they feel unsafe, we have a really big problem with opening schools regardless of what the president would like to see. My wife is in approximately 10 schools every 2 weeks and we are looking at paying for a year of service to make her eligible to retire before the start of the year. There is a big part of this story being missed when we listen to Sen. Paul talk about school starting and kids being safe. There are a lot of older teachers or teachers with underlying conditions who are not safe.
