A very good idea.. Done with the warmest of indifference. I don’t get it? The central character is Portrayed by the actress Cynthia Eviro.. Aloof, cold and misdirected from the start. Cold eyes... No warmth at all. I have no idea why the other characters would follow a woman - actress who literally “walks through her part”.. Like a rehearsal. This is a movie with out a soul.. the idea is great.. but the execution reads like a mediocre movie of the week. Esther Rolle did this character in a movie of the week for PBS in the ‘70s.. It was wonderful! If did not have the lush look and finish of the “Harriet” movie but it had a soul! Wonderful script and acting on scale this movie could learn from.
