Biased | Misleading | One-sided Expected to watch a healthy unbiased view points of both Gandhi and Godse ideologies. However, the movie is as biased as it can be towards Gandhi. We need not see why Mahatma was Mahatma, that is something we know and have been told since childhood. The movie has an opportunity to dwell on Godse side, still, movie is NOTHING BUT A LOVE LETTER TO MAHATMA GANDHI. 1. One-sided show of violence being done on Muslims. While Sikhs are shown just violent and oppressing, muslims are shown to be needy and helpless. 2. The misrepresentation of upper caste Hindus as violent orthodox is seen multiple times in movie. It shows nothing but procastism and Hindu phobic mindcukture. Anti Brahmin and pro dalit/muslim. This movie serves people earning bread on division. 3. Many times Godse shouts to be Hindu and is shown to be violent because he is Hindu. While any kid can open YouTube and hear Godse speak where he is not as nearly as it is shown in movie. So, if you are going with an expectation to see unbiased ideology debate. This movie is a big misfit. Movie is a complete fiction and nowhere close to reality.

Over-overstretched | Predictable | Good music | Unnecessary Movie starts with the protagonist winning an award she termed as returning home and her mother opening the doors. Protagonist longs for her mother's love, yet is able to succeed in singing without her for 8-9 years, but that character arc is lost once the flashback begins, the character loses all the changes it had brought in, to be successful in the present. A big part of the movie is spent in flashback and we really do not know when did the character free itself from past guilt and expectations of motherly love to be successful. Movie is over stretched with really not required VFX, patterns and same circle of scenes. The plot and much awaited twist was very much understood and the movie fails to attract attention of viewer Music is great and acting is superb. Yet, movie will leave you feeling very negative and you will feel the movie is unnecessary.
