One of the best shows I have ever watched.
Jeremy Renner's character is trying so hard to do what is right in a place where the right thing isn't ever easy or clear.
He's jaded and tired but doesn't feel like he has any other options so he just keeps going. When something eventually breaks through the shell, suddenly he snaps and starts really getting his hands dirty.
I can't imagine what critics wanted from this series. Yes it's dark. Yes there's no clear good guys. Yes it's complex.
But it is all about people making choices about what is right, what is wrong, and what they can do to survive moment by moment. I love it.
