I knew I’d like this when I saw how angry it made men I adored everything about aaa. The acting the storyline the characters it was amazing and women centred and I loved it.

The premise is quite promising it had all the components of a nice little fantasy read. However It was really poor, all characters were one dimensional and this is clearly a man writing about women when it appears he’s never actually had a proper conversation with one. The men drink whisky and know about history and the girls are mean about each other and so, so flat and cliche. There was no depth of emotion at all, and it was peppered with fat shaming and mean language I saw no point in. Not one character interaction was believable. I wasted £16 on this

I just want a screen adaptation that's the same as the sorce material. Not characters completely different in looks, dress, personality. Not a different story line, not making two separate characters into one, not making characters do things they didn't in the comic, or adding in new random characters/plot lines. Its also set in 2021 instead of late 80s early 90s whyyyyyyy?
2 stars because its visually great and corinthian and Morpheus are okish.
