First, I have to say that it captured me, I watched all episodes in 3 days, last batch 5 episodes in one sitting. I am usually a critic of series thinking they steal our lives and there are better things that we ought to do with our time. But this one got me. The one star missing out of five in my grading is for two reasons.
One is technical, Misha's tears falling down when he is supposedly in imponderability (during his puppets show). Really, what's the problem? Not enough funds to edit those few minutes and fix the issue with some computer touches? Or maybe not care about the expectations of the audience? Too bad! If I'm wrong about the physics of that scene I'd like to hear about it.
The second, it saddens me that such a lofty theme is polluted with hints of fornication. Sad. What's the problem here? Audience is not pleased without such spicy addition? Producers cannot think life can exist, even in high spheres, without dirt? Are the Amish the last people who can live a decent life? Or is it just a reflection of the new normal that we have been living in the last few years?
