I thought I outgrew anime and didn't want to watch a cartoon. Out of sheer boredom I gave it a chance and was immediately hooked by the fantastic story writing and dialogue. I don't expect much from tv shows. I just expect enough intrigue, originality, and enough intelligent writing to not make me fast forward everything. The anime quality is excellent - not that it matters. It's originally in English and it's surprisingly good. Best of all it is only 4 seasons. I cannot handle shows that go on forever. Thank you Netflix for giving us Castlevania. I lose interest in most of Netflix shows... things just get really stupid 'The 100', 'Jupiter something'... except Stranger Things. that was good. Everything else... sucks.
