I FREAKING LOVED THIS MOVIE. Let me just say that if you’re not a sonic fan and you’re looking for a movie with a super complicated plot, cinematic masterpiece or something so influential it spawns a new genre, then this clearly isn’t for you. The plot isn’t so thick because it doesn’t have to be. Next, I Want to say that this film has a near perfect combination of action and comedy (Take notes, TMNT). Yes, there are some unfunny and childish jokes but if you can get around that, this movie will have you smiling all the way through. Sonic the hedgehog isn’t complicated because it doesn’t need to be at all. This is just the type of movie you would come and watch. I feel like a lot of the criticism directed towards this movie comes from non sonic fans. The acting is superb and, I’n my opinion, the best video game movie of all time.🦔
