This film gives Peterson ample space to successfully portray himself as a serious and passionate thinker, but perhaps more importantly, it never shies away from his most questionable (and sometimes cringe-worthy) lines of thinking. The strength of this film is in it's ability to remain impartial in its portrayal of such a deeply polarizing figure. Countless people have grown as a result of hearing his message of truth and empowerment, yet the struggles experienced by many others as a result of his failures to hone in on the truth are equally real and valid. In the end, we are left to decide for ourselves which of his ideas are most true, and which fall short. The responsibility ultimately falls to the individual, and that's exactly the point.
