Cooking shows are usually boring to me but I really enjoyed this one! I binged both seasons in 2 days. Selena is so cute, real and relatable. I loved that they kept the show authentic and showed her messing up like the rest of us. Her Papa is hilarious also. Her friend was a bit over the top and annoying though. Loved the recipes and already bought the ingredients to try making the fried chicken! Hoping for more seasons :)

Finally a cute Christmas movie that wasn't overly cheesy! Loved it 💕

Awful... I had high hopes when I heard about a Selena series but was quickly disappointed. The story is too choppy, the actress doesn't look or act anything like Selena, giggles and whispers the whole time, can't dance (a key talent of Selena), it's hard to relate the 2 when watching it. It fell flat for me. Felt more like watching a really bad Lifetime story version. I do like that they told more of the story just wish it was done better.

I'm all for a good cheesy romcom Holiday movie but this one was too cringy for even me. Horrible acting, all over the place, not funny, not believable. I've seen much better movies like this on Lifetime.

This movie was frustrating for me. Everyone seems to be calling Mel abusive but seem to forget that Dan had just cheated on her. She caught him cheating at the party when the other girl text him about them kissing. He was the one on top of Mel outside when he got arrested. Then Mel ends up being the "bad guy" and apologizing?? Then at the end where she caught him sleeping with that same girl. Of course Mel is going to go a little crazy, I'm sure anyone would. She breaks the window and pushes Dan who happens to get glass in his foot. Again, deflecting from the issue of him cheating on her. No accountability on his part and no real solution. I feel like it was very realistic in a lot of ways though. This happens a lot in relationships. People like to deflect onto the other person when they do something wrong. I appreciated the realness shown about how toxic relationships can be and how dependent people can be on each other. I felt like it could've been done better though and not as piecy and all over the place.

I figured you can't go wrong with Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd in a movie.... but I was wrong. Flat storyline, no real chemistry between Reese and Paul's characters, hard to believe they were really in love. Even their cheesy kiss at the end was awful. It's one of those movies that you hope will get better but never does. It had a few funny moments for the most part boring and super cheesy.
