Engr Ah Bill

Despite grand production values and liveable cast, Aladdin is a strictly average affair which doesn't live up to its predecessor. Characters fail to connect with each other, on screen chemistry between the princal cast seems off. Will Smith does a good job as genie but any comparison with the legend Robin Williams would be unjust. Direction could have been tighter and new original songs could have been a welcome change but instead Disney decided to fiddle with the original Aladdin and ends up bringing up an average one time watch. 5/10
