John Bundrage

This movie was WAY better than I expected. The jokes were funny (the cannibalism one imo) and I feel Johnny Depp did a good job playing Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder still did better!). I liked the Willy Wonka backstory even though it wasn't really necessary... However, the songs from the Oompa Loompas were not memorable and were not as good as the ones from the original. It would've been 5 stars if they would've reprised the songs or not included them at all. Overall, the movie was a good experience and a good remake. Usually, when I watch remakes they're not very good, but this was a shocker. 4/5.
