Let's be honest the original filmation cartoon has not aged well at all. I've tried to get my boys to sit down & watch it with me & they got very bored very quickly. So I decided to try them with this new version & we couldn't turn it off. It's fantastic & my 5 year old spent the rest of the day running around pretending to be He-Man just like I did when I was his age. The animation is great, voice casting excellent & a plot that respects what came before while effectively moving the story forward for new & old fans alike. Do not believe the haters (there are many out there trashing the show on purpose) watch it & make up your own mind
