Lilla’s Life

This was such an incredible read.The main character Starr takes you on the journey of her life after she witnessed her childhood friend Khalil Harris get shot to death by tge police.Starr lives in garden heights a ruff part of America with gangs and where brutal things happen. I am not a big reader but definitely trying to get into a habit of reading more .To be honest this was the first full book I have read in years.I could not stop reading it.I think Angie Thomas(the author) is such a beautiful writer.I definitely think any teen /young adult and everyone should read it.
