This Joker was way above in acting than Heath Ledger’s version, in my opinion. The transition was amazing and even the uncontrollable laughter was so real that I could feel the pain, he must be experiencing while laughing so much and coughing and talking at the same time. J. Phoenix portrayal is amazing. I felt pity for the guy and felt scared at the same time especially in the scene when midget friend was trying to open the door. Movie is heart breaking, horrific and depressing. End sequence from his complete transition till the last dance on car was so good. The car scene was so amazing with all his followers surrounding him like a cult worshipping their god. Loved the movie but I am expecting polarized reviews for this movie some will like it a lot and others will simply hate. P.S. all the scenes I mentioned are not spoilers and will not make sense till you watch this movie. 🙃

I loved the start and end of season 1. In the middle it was 2-3 episodes too long and dragged in many parts. Overall it is enjoyable, loved Penn’s acting.

I enjoyed it a lot. Visually stunning and story about pagan cult has all the weird and horrific activities expected from it. Performances are great and overall tone of movie is so disturbing and un-comforting which adds to overall experience.

A movie which does not leave you long after the credits are rolling. Strong performances by both protagonists Kalpana and Soni.
