I’m wanting to love this show. The cast is top notch. The 9-1-1 series is classic. The Nashville music scene is great…but this first episode is far fetched even for 9-1-1. I can tell the writers have never been through a real tornado emergency. There wouldn’t be an outdoor concert going on with that kind of severe weather predicted in Nashville. We take our weather seriously in Tennessee and North Alabama. I’m about 100 miles south of Nashville. The girl with the kite is the same story we’ve seen already. And having a rookie skip the academy? That’s not remotely believable. I highly doubt the brave people of the Nashville Fire Department saw this as a good reflection on them. This show has to do better. When you can’t even get the instant love of fans who have been with 9-1-1 since the very first episode, something is off. Do better. Be more creative. We have plenty of emergencies in this area. And if you’re going to show a tornado, do it right and have respect for all of us who have been through them. Make me love you! ❤️

Loved this continuation of Moana. The songs are catchy and the characters are still lovable. If you’re a true Disney fan, this will delight you. My daughter loved it. It has all of the qualities of a great Disney movie. Will it go down as the next Toy Story or Frozen 2? Maybe not, but it was still worth the watch.

The fighting is very good (and gory) but when you’re a Marvel fan, you’ll find yourself wanting just a little more from acting and screenplay. Special effects are solid but just not that of Disney’s MCU. (Who really can compete with those budgets?) I still enjoyed the movie and Mortal Kombat fans will love it. As for MCU fans, we’ll be waiting for Shang-Chi for best comparison. Can the MCU bring the level of martial arts seen in Mortal Kombat? We certainly hope (and believe) they will. Good movie. I’ll definitely be waiting for the next one.
