I also love Kate Morton’s books and have just finished the Clockmaker’s Daughter. I went searching for reviews to see if it was just me who found it a confusing read. Repeatedly, I found myself having to search back to check on characters and storylines. I think clearer chapter titles would have helped me keep the myriad of characters/timelines easier to sort out in my head or even a character list at the start or back of the novel. I also felt the book ended too soon and was left feeling dissatisfied and disappointed with the ending.
