The subtle hints such as the fact that joker's real name isn't Arthur Fleck and that his true identity still remains unknown were perfectly timed, beautifully executed and consistent with the comic book tradition of "joker's identity being a mystery even batman can't solve. Whether one is a movie buff or hates movies this is one movie that no one should miss. Joker's transition into insanity is so realistic that one is left wondering whether he would have done same things under the given circumstances.
