CHRISTOPHER CASTIEL

The only "disturbing" thing about this film is that Barry Keoghan looks like he's in his 40's but is trying to pass as a college freshman lol. The story really never builds to anything satisfying and it doesn't hide that Oliver begins manipulating others early in the movie. The movie would have been better had Oliver been romantically in love with Felix and Oliver starts killing off those around Felix one by one until all Felix had left was Oliver.

Would have preferred to see Tobey Maguire die but excellent movie nonetheless

I know I am nitpicking but I was bothered to see Data wearing the Starfleet uniform issued in 2373 while aboard the Enterprise-D, which was destroyed in 2371. Perhaps it was intentional and the story is hinting at Picard going senile. I was perhaps more bothered that the uniform collar and shoulders appeared wrinkled and stretched. I would gladly volunteer my time to iron costumes and cross check canonical facts. Other than that, lol, it was a solid first episode and I am looking forward to the rest of the season
