This is the first time I would post a review here and this movie informs that decision. I think this movie was not given the sort of commendation and attention it deserves. The theme has a direct touch to humanity, it evokes a consciousness that has been lost in the world today. We have been too busy that we may have lose sight of the little things that matter, the people who just may need a smile from us.
The irony of homeless people having a desire to read and adapt intellectually is epic. I think the idea is to remind us that such people are humans after all and if given the help they deserve, they will survive and eventually contribute to the society.
I think the ending is great. The fact that after all the effort put by the homeless men and Mr.. Goodson they still got arrested shows that the writer appreciates the much people have done to take people off the street but a bigger but is that its not enough. That ending shows a clear picture of hopeless.
Plus: I think homeless borders on all gender.
