The plot was great, as were MOST of the actors; but why in heaven's name did they think Daniel Craig was the best actor for a southern detective? 🤔 A huge mistake, almost as bad as using Dick van Dyke to play a cockney in Mary Poppins.🤦

I just finished this dull and annoying story. Lucy is weak willed and comes from a fractured, unlikeable family. The story meanders and leaves you feeling you just wasted too many hours of your life.

If you like watching porn with smelly old men paired with scenes of bloody operations on corpses, this film is for you. The acting was very good and the animation was unusually colourful...and why I gave it one star.

I just finished chapter 3, that's 32 pages, and decided to check the reviews of those who had given it a whopping 5 stars. Why??? I am already bored out of my skull...for the same reasons a handful of readers gave it 2 stars. Well I'm giving it one; I just know this book will not improve and life is too short to flog a dead horse.

I was expecting too much maybe; but I felt no chemistry between Tony and Maria - they just didn't gell. They were not well cast in this film. I assume the singing voices were not theirs, it didn't come across like they were. 3/10
