Pro Wrestling is a sport where athletic artists compete with each other to become the audience's favorite. In this alternative league, the talent is allowed to ply every aspect of their craft, rather than being used as glorified puppets. In the WWE, performers are not allowed to show their quality, but instead are handcuffed to stiff scripts, scatalogical humor, and outdated notions about what an audience will "buy". AEW is a breath of fresh air.
