Just watched this movie and I must say, it's wonderful! I know that I watched the first movie but don't remember any of it. I actually forgot about it's existence before I saw the trailer to this and was like, 'Oh yeah! That movie that I remember literally nothing about, except for that one redheaded girl that I don't remember the name of but was (and still is) my favorite character!' But when I sat down to watch this movie (in the completely empty movie theater might I add) I had no expectations except that it was going to be a bad movie that's only purpose for existence was to make some money, AND OH HO HO BOY WAS I WRONG! This movie gave me such a trip to the past it was so wonderful that it's unable to put into words! The characters personally was so accurate to what I can remember it's AMAZING! And I'm very sure that it's the same voice actors as well! When I saw Eep for the first time in this movie as well I got SO excited! I was just, 'Hey, it's her! That one character that I like so much but cant remember the name of! DgksgusttjdyiyeyxyaffjdykshlstkffigishodygdykAHHHHHHHHHH!' Obviously that last part was internal but was busting out a bit. I love the relationship the characters all share as well, because its told so well, and the fact that the cast isnt dominated by a female or male cast. It's all a good mix together! But my favorite part is that instead of the cliche 'male saves the female' it's the other way around, and I love it. Also the fact that there's just ONE guy in the group of females to help save the other guys from being eaten by a giant porcupine monkey thing, I find wonderfully hilarious! The story, the animation, all the way down the the incredible humor! It was perfect! I'm so happy that this exists because before this movie, the Croods were something that was buried in the back of my mind of the memories long forgot, but when I saw the trailer for this movie, the Croods completely resurrected itself in my mind and it was the best thing ever. So if you can, just go and watch this movie, you will not regret it. Trust me. 10/10 reccomend this movie. P.S. The fact that 3 different characters all get jabbed in the eye with three separate wooden stick-like things is the best gag in entire movie.

I just finished watching this movie and have a lot of good things to say about it. 1. The animated characters. I saw a lot of familiar (not so friendly) faces in this that were also very in character might I add. As in Spike the Bulldog beating up Tom in nearly every shot they shared time in the movie, as he did regularly in the shorts, and the ally cats threatening Tom every time they see him, aswell as Tom being very terrified of the ally cats. Also Jerry. He's just in character by existing. 2. The story. Everything about the story had such a 'Tom and Jerry' feel to it. I dont really know how to put it into words it just does. 3. The voice acting for the animated characters. The fact that it was the original voices FOR Tom and Jerry is already enough for me, but the fact that they actually provided the voices for them instead of just recycling old (but classic) voice clips makes it even better, AND what I think is THE MOST KNOWN voice clip for Tom was redone and included in the movie is one of the BEST THINGS EVER. Just AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! (Though I will admit the original voice clip for that is the best version because of the worse audio quality.) 4. The human acting. Chloe Grace Mortez did a WONDERFUL job playing her character (and looked great doing it) by holding the attention of the viewer while still maintaining a good acting job for her character. The same for everyone else in the movie. 5. The animation. It makes me happy just THINKING about it. That's how good the animation is! Like I said with the story, the animation has a very 'Tom and Jerry' feel to it which I love, as someone who's always enjoyed the Tom and Jerry shorts. 6. The music. The music was very fitting for the situation going on in the movie at that point in time, and was also well done with mixing the different types of instruments. The only part I HATE was when Tom SANG. That disaster of a choice made me PHYSICALLY CRINGE for many reasons. 1. Tom was speaking a human language. 2. He was singing. 3. It was autotuned. 4. It's just wrong. 5. That didn't need to be in the movie. Also how the elephants spoke made me quite uncomfortable being someone apart of Gen Z. My point is is that the movie is good and I would definitely recommend to anyone who might ask me if it's good or not, and nearly everything about this is wonderfully entertaining and beautiful. 10/10 reccomend this movie.
