The only thing from winx club is the word " winx" in the name. Everything is upside down, all characters are messed-up. It is so dark, depressive and ordinary. Seems like they try to create magical world and than made it as earthly and standard as possible. It is not giving you that feeling of shifting into magical dimension where everything is different and interesting with a lot of positive like cartoon deed. Even if not to connect this movie with winx, still it is not interesting and poorly executed. Also outfits of actors are beyond horrible

Fate: The Winx Saga

I decided to read this book because of so much talk about it. But I was disappointed. Story line is typically sad with predictable events which make it even sadder. I really didn't like the style of writing, it was so boring that many times I forced myself to read it till end. The plot of book is build around another strange not good incomplete book and long conversations about it. Maybe it was done to increase number of pages? Maybe author should better develop the story of 2 people, their emotions and life but not include those "fillers"
