Wow, what a great book!
This is one of the few books that I could not stop listening to. Interesting format, but very nicely done and kept us engaged till the final ending. Even the last part made it even better and appropriate for the title.

Very captivating from the beginning to the end. An excellent historical review of the Civil War and Grant’s presidency. A job well done by Ron Chernow.
