It's predictable and like a made for TV movie, but it's fun and pure escapism.
The acting is as you would expect but Alyssa Milano is hot and the main male lead will provide eye candy for many. Jessica Fletcher in 'Murder She Wrote' ran investigations and intervened etc and no-one questioned her. Just go with it isn't real life and doesn't have to make sense...
