It's a great game. 100% recommend, especially if you can get it on the $8 sale.

I spent 20+ hours on this game beating gyms and collecting Pokemon. It's not a "bad" Pokemon game, but 100%, not the best. I'm really disappointed in the removal of Pokemon for the cost of supposed graphical improvement. Pokemon and NPCs "pop up" when you get near enough to them, and it looks really awkward. Animations and sprites and basically almost identical to previous 3DS games. And the storyline is kinda stale, the game constantly holds your hand throughout the whole game. It is nothing like GameFreak promised they would create. this game may be enjoyable to newcomers and casual players, but long-time fans prepared to be disappointed.
