This series was truly a one of a kind, binge-watch worthy show, based on true life events. “Riveting” was the first choice of word I remember saying when I read the plot line, and it really was. So dark, so humourous, so engrossing, so sad. Baby reindeer explores the strongholds of how one’s past trauma can reach into the deepest pockets of our lives, filtering through the relationships we have with others, and the relationship that we have with ourselves. The most mind blowing part is that the leading actor played himself. This man retold, and acted all the deepest and darkest traumas that he had to endure. 💔 I dare say this is the best show I have ever seen and maybe will ever see.

To sum up in two words: underrated film. The character Dracula was beautifully depicted in this film, one which broke all preconceived notions that history normally had inscribed. I have been left in awe of the cinematography, the storyline, and the softly painted themes in this film. Questions posed to the audience about love and sacrifice really set alight for an interesting discussion. If man sacrifices their soul to become a deplorable frightening entity and renounce their human salvation to the 'Lord', in hopes to protect the lives of the innocent, are they really a monster without a soul? What is the measurement of good? Can good and evil co-exist in the human conscientiousness? This film encapsulates the line between good and evil superbly. A well-balanced storyline. The ending has left me grappling for more, and prompted that there is more. Dracula Untold really lends its name for a sequel yet to unfold...

Am not a fan of horror films but this a fantastic film, love the storyline and the way it was directed. Satisfied with the ending.
