My late husband, Allen, and I met Buck Schiwetz in Rockport, TX where we had a weekend home. Not only was he an incredible artist, but a brilliant conversationalist as well. Not much about Texas managed to excape his eyes and talented hand! We received a copy of his book, "The Schiwetz Legacy," as a Christmas gift from him the year it was published, 1972, where it rightfully became a cherished addition to our home library.
