What a lame movie, as an Indian bengali i am horrified to hear the accent and dilate used for bengali language in this film along with that every one is listening hindi songs , it seems they are guided by governor of WB in bengali culture . And the plot - One Bangladesi drug mafia taking son of a financially broken Indian drug lord as a hostage for what ! There is no geographic or cultural sense in this movie. If you like mindless action flicks and Chris Hemsworth then go for it. Otherwise it is a very poorly scripted movie without minimum knowledge about Indian or Bangladeshi culture.

Well if you want to see contemporary version of Micheal Mann,s 1995 Epic Movie "Heat" then "Den of Thieves" is your take. Proabably Gerard Butler has given his best ever performance but at the end of day there is only one Al Pacino & Robert Di Niro so obviously director Christian Gudegast,s version wasn't able to recreate the Magic called Heat. ***/*****

This is a Masterpiece by Lynne Ramsay maybe in the frame of Modern Day Taxi Driver. Joaquin Phoenix is outstanding as a killer looking for his salvation, redemption. The cinematography is scintillating. ****/***** for me.
