Initially, I had loved the book. The beginning was captivating with her whole "memory loss" thing and I was curious to know the truth of the Sinclairs. However, I had been expecting a huge plot twist that would leave me spewing out words to countless of my friends, rather than ranting about the storyline to my father. The ending had been predictable by the time that the third part came about and the ending [ to me ] was abrupt and confusing.
In my opinion this book wasn't bad, I would definitely read it again to see if I could understand it more. But We Were Liars seems overrated to me. I expected so much from this book, and received very little.
