Gully Boy is a very well-directed and well-acted film. As expected from the talented Zoya Akhtar, the depiction of gap between the haves and the have-nots is poignant and ponderable. Unlike her previous films, the canvas of this film is much larger. It is not just about a few people's deepest emotions and relationships, but a much larger Mumbai 's Dharaavi family. As it is based on a true story, it is even more heart-rending. The spirit to aspire for dreams, the zeal to survive amidst odds and the enthusiasm of pursuits is a treat to the eyes. Extremely well-penned n choreographed poems makes the film truly enjoyable. A must watch for all ages...
