Relax Kristina, you're not Roger Ebert and this is just a google review, get a grip! This is a simple feel good movie, nothing bad or great about it. Some out of touch or more privileged people won't care for it. But those who ever struggled for not having a formal education or moms who have chosen adoption can likely relate. I tend to be over-analytical and highly criticizing of movies, IF they are award worthy, but this movie doesn't claim to be Casablanca or The Color Purple. I don't think it was ever even in theaters, it's just for streaming. If you're just passing time and are not trying to go down a sad road or watch action/drama then this is great to throw on. I can easily lose interest but it kept my attention and made me laugh out loud a few times, that's what matters. And when you're done you're in a lighter mood. No time wasted, I had a good time watching.
