so I commenced this movie thinking gosling is a hottie lets watch. I enjoyed the adorable child and Ryan relationship, loved the driving scenes and the girls necklace. Then, to my surprise, I was bombarded with imagery of brain matter, blood, and yuckiness. I expect a movie to give me fair warning of the level of gore that it will subject me to at the start, but this did the exact opposite. I was left flabbergasted and overwhelmed by the violence and immediately had to stop the movie and write this review to save others. Overall rating: beginning: 7.5/10 end: 0/10 (couldn't even watch it)
