The premise is kind of cute but silly. I started watching MONTHS ago and I’m going to stick with it, but really?! amnesia and then partial amnesia? I want to slap the ML and the FL so badly, but the worst character is Ms. Cho: she acts every scene with her mouth hanging open. Obviously the kids hate her so why stretch it out for 50 episodes before she gets fired? The worst part is waiting one week for new episodes to show on Viki and another week to actually get them translated on Kocowa. It’s slow-motion torture but like I said, I’ll stay with it to watch in between other better dramas (like “Melancholia”) but you can decide for yourself if you want to waste your time. Also I was sad to think that these are mostly talented actors who had to settle for this drama; the male lead was a guitarist in a punk band and he does well in a ridiculous role. I hope these actors get better offers in the future.

Most Americans have never heard of the great genius, Nicola Tesla, who discovered practical uses for alternating current and had his ideas stolen by others who profited from them. This movie is NOT the vehicle to educate anyone about Tesla. Ridiculous, boring, and poorly done. It seems Hollywood is hard-pressed to make a decent movie.

I’m only on Episode 7, but I was hooked at the very first chapter! Tough and realistic story line, and so far, no K-Drama cliches (accidental trip and fall kisses, surprise shower scenes) that give away the ending. A hard-hitting drama that approaches the social commentary of Parasite. The race and gender inclusive cast and storyline is unique, too. Refreshing and riveting; with a hero who loses everything but doesn’t give up his dream or compromise.

Though the story was engaging and heartbreaking at times, I felt like there were two story lines cobbled together. The first part addressed elder issues and the pain of being an old person who is really young on the inside, but is ignored and pushed aside when no longer attractive to others. This idea could have been fleshed out a lot more rather than turning the story upside down and providing a blanket Alzheimer’s reason for the main character’s actions. Though touchingly done, it left the viewer confused and a bit cheated, wondering what could have been.

Excellent drama, good actors and great chemistry between the two leads. What's up with the unsatisfactory ending, though?
