I am astonished that anyone enjoyed this train wreck of a movie. No offense to the cast, it wasn't their fault that there were so many ridiculous plot holes. I have to assume that the people who wrote positive reviews have A. Never seen a good sci-fi movie, B. Are very young ( point A.) or C. Are simple people who think the movie is deep, and that they are deep for liking it. I would say that this movie had the potential to be ok, but the plot itself is terrible and makes no sense. Build a bunker if the world is about to freeze. Then the hanging cow carcasses would make sense. Or the magically self sustaining fishtank car. Etc etc
