I saw the early premiere of this movie on Wednesday and I purposely waited a few days before saying anything. I am extremely disappointed in this movie. My sister and I read this series in days and we've reread and reread several times since we first stumbled onto the series. We had a countdown for the movie and like I said paid to go to an early premiere. I am not commenting on the acting or casting, I have nothing against either of those in fact the chemistry between all actors was obvious! Im deeply disappointed by the movie itself. The scenes that your fans needed do not exist. You cut dialogue, you cut multiple plot twists, you cut relationship building, and you down played many key climax scenes. You said this movie would be different because of time, you both said fans would be happy with the adaptation. If you would have done this right you would have had three movies because you stayed true to the fans who loved your book because it was different. Love is not perfect, your books were raw and uncensored. The lake scene, her college major, the how of the internship, the apartment, jace, the wedding, THE DARE. I didn't see the movie After, I saw at best, a loosely guarded adaptation of the book After.
