Take some Air (French synthy loungecore dudes from the 90's), Stir in some Ennio Morricone, some Serge Gainsbourg, a soupcon of Lana Del Rey (if out of that - a little Julee Cruise) - leave to simmer and then add plenty of yer actual Karen O. Voila! Delicious Lux Prima.

Stripped down, stroppy synthpunk. Think Slits meets early Soft Cell with a bit of Alan Vega's Suicide hand grenaded in. Funky guitar rears up sometimes. I like this but that's probably the kiss of death from this white bloke in his 50's - I'm guessing NOT the target audience - but probably essential for chicks...on speed.
