So much potential wasted by such poor writing. Other than 15 mins of excellent action and sound effects the movie does not have much to hold on to. The filler subplots drag the movie unnecessarily and are completely inconsequential. Rian Johnson needed to take clear stances on some of the plot points and he just wimped out. Although I am okay with the closure of some of the Force Awakens sub plots, Last Jedi in itself is uninspiring and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I was looking forward to this movie all year and now I am completely put off by what this trilogy has to offer.
