Good to see the old courses and admit nothing much has changed re facilties 50 years later which has a charm. Personally I think an occasional grocery race for locals in a small town where exclusive entries are made knowing that one of them is 5 lengths better than the rest, starts favourite and everyone wins. Now that is smart.

Breath of fresh air regarding looking at how community is shaped by those that have been doing so from yea before medieval times and have it down to a fine art nowadays with divide and rule, greed, fear, ego and the best anti revolutionary dvice being money as God and a huge mortgage to keep the peasants far too stressed about this and other irrelevant distractions in the political and community world to screen out most relevant issues. After all if you had won say England in 1066 would you let the peasants in on the goodies? If you run a corporation do you give much to the workers? Peasants have been made to sacrificed their humane communities for materialistic substitutes.... the series was an excellent stimulus to youngsters to look beyond the b.s. they had been conditioned to accept as a norm. Find your niche .....

A touching and reflective film showing our cultures values from various perspectives but always with the then paternalistic and community love / care for others. That ethic is now put aside as folk chase wants like puppets no longer capable of thinking for themselves with integrity.
