A wonderfully shot in monochrome film about a strained relationship about two people in a relationship talking mainly about what they want from their relationship. You don't see this kind of livid & explicit discussions about what two people expect from each other in such a brutally honest way. It's not exaggerated in the least bit; anyone who has witnessed a real-life fight between two unstable people in a relationship and try to end the fight can see this is exactly how it plays out. There are moments of deflection when Malcolm tries to rant about the blatant unfairness of the way black people cinemas are reviewed and Marie listens on with utmost patience. The viewer can clearly discern each moment, which word gets held onto during the argument, which words truly hurt one another. The poignant moments of understanding and guilt in each other's eyes at some points. The hurtful moments in which they don't want their words to come out but it does anyway. 10/10...I wish every couple in distress and anyone that doesn't know how to value the other person in a relationship watches this film with their significant other and make some apologies and be grateful for their partner. I definitely would watch it again. Great cinematography, refreshing to see such creative imagery even in a film entirely shot in monochrome and limited space. The touching dialogues and the delivery of each scene. Both were immensely talented actors and this is honestly the best non-orthodox movie I've seen in a while. Deserves great reviews and greater success haha!

Truly amazing film, welll-constructed dialogues that try to throw light on so many issues surrounding religious drama. I felt like it was a public dig to fake-saamiyar gumbals & it was worth watching it! The soundtrack is scintillating too, loved almost every song featured in it. Urvashi ma'am's performance, the speed of the dialogues, the perfection of expression!! HATS OFF!
