Overall, a decent movie. Though it fails to be what I would consider a "slasher" horror film. The movie is an hour and 35ish minutes long, but the killer does not really start doing their thing until the last 15 minutes. I found the camp personnel to be more frightening than the killer, and only slightly less disturbed than the killer's mental state in the end. If you are watching this for the horror aspect, there are better ones.

Overall a good horror movie, if you can make it through the first act. I know the intent was to fill out the characters, but there were quite a few scenes in the first act that should have been shorted or even removed from the final product. The second act does pick up the pace, and things move along nicely from there.

This movie was really hit and miss with me. I found parts that I thought were interesting and different. For example, the vampire was found to be one of the more famous ones from history, and even held true to what that person did. Then using a ability that was very bat like when hunting prey was a "wow interesting" kind of thing. Then were the parts that made me scratch my head as to why. The biggest one being why were the lights flashing in the tunnels. It made no sense to be why they should.

I suppose there is a market for this show, but it is not me. I only watched the first episode, so perhaps it gets better. I am not a fan of the animation style used, but it seems to be in line with the current "in" style. The voice acting was a miss for me. While not entirely the actors fault due to the lines given, it seemed too over done. The story... well, if stereo types are what you find funny and your thing, this will be for you. Otherwise, skip it.

The overall plot of the series is not overly complicated. It is the standard good versus bad guys kind of show. The fifth episode is a bit heavy handed in the political messaging, but overall a positive message.

I have watched the first 4 and a half episodes. I wanted to like this, but aside from the fight scenes, it is just not holding my interest. There is so much potential here, but parts of it get bogged down with what feels like un -needed exposition. Perhaps the rest of the series might get better, but I am afraid it will just be more of the same. Well choreographed fight scenes, and lackluster stories and character arcs at best.

I know this is supposed to be a comedy, but I just did not find that parts that were supposed to be funny all the humorous. The general story just did not grab my interest. I'm sure there are those that might like this show, I just am not one of them.
