It's haunting, mesmerising, gorgeous. I came in contact with this film not too long ago, and suffice it to say that I was completely besotted. It's a gruesome and brutally realistic depiction of human emotions, coupled with softness and the supernatural... it's dark, anarchic and vengeful, but love triumphs over all in the end, even if the journey is slow and painful. Brandon Lee's presentation of the complex and multi-faceted Eric Draven is simply amazing; a shining young star who ascended to the higher realms way before his time. The Crow stole his mortality, immortalising him in the process. Hats off to him. The Crow is such an eerily accurate depiction of human nature that it will always remain relevant.
However, it has several potential triggers and I recommend the viewers proceed cautiously with this film for their own good.
