The autobiographical movie left me feeling Kilmer is just another human groping his way along through life. It's just happenstance he's an actor, writer, director. Unlike most folks, he has both the audience and the wherewithal to splice vignettes of his life; childhood, family relationships, losses & victories, into a story about accepting who he has been and who he is now. I found the movie enjoyable.

Saw other up votes on this movie, of which I had never heard. As others have said, if you want to be entertained by a movie which is not like any other, take a chance. The characters, plot and acting will not disappoint you! 👍👍👍👍👍
