Still just as buggy as survival evolved. Not too far in and I've already had 2 of my 4 dinos get stuck in the wall outside of a cave. If you're going to release a new version as a cashgrab, make sure you iron out your code

Still an absolute buggy mess. From frame drops and artifacting to crashing before you can get back to a checkpoint. It will force you to fight one of Star Wars best BBEGs as a different character, meaning you can't bring everything you've worked to acquire to that fight, which is made even worse by it being a 5 stage fight with zero checkpoints. It advertises itself as a soulslike while showcasing that it doesn't understand the balancing that goes into Soulsborne games to make them hard but fair. If you aren't a Star Wars die-hard fan, I'd give it a miss and spend money on literally anything else.

This is an all-around improvement on the 1st. Much more polished, more shenanigans, more customization. I've seen reviews panning this game, but get the impression they add a pinch of sugar to their bran flakes to "treat themselves". If you enjoyed the first game, this is better. If you didn't enjoy the first game due to performance issues, this is better.

I hadn't played the first game until the release of part 2 and all of the complaints about it. I've played both and I think part 2 is the natural progression to the events of the first. The game devs are making a point about perspectives and how 2 parties both felt they were doing the right thing. The gameplay is significantly improved in part 2. There's a lot of different characters that offer different perspectives, and if you can't be bothered to consider things from a different perspective, maybe stick to COD. Overall, very well done game, very compelling story, and many compliments to Naughty Dog and their devs for this amazing game. I look forward to a 3rd installment down the road.
