tl;dr: Shadowlands is a great expansion, the negative reviews are by people who don't understand the game or are upset classic WoW players that can't see logic beyond their rose-tinted glasses and mistake tediousness for difficulty. The negative reviews are of people who are don't understand what is and isn't in blizzard's power. Most of the reviews complaining about server issues? That happens every launch and they always get fixed over the course of a week or 2, as of this review its been about a week since launch and i can play with no issues. People complaining it's the same end game don't understand game play loops, any game can be boiled down to the same task, in Call of Duty you just shoot bad guys, that's every CoD game, but in reality there is more too them. With such knowledge don't let these negative reviews turn you away, they are by bitter people who don't understand the game or are just being willfully ignorant.
